I can’t stop thinking about Daylight Savings on November 1.
Little J wakes up at about 6:30am every day. When he sleeps in until 7:00, I dance a little dance of joy.
So, what am I going to do when 6:30 suddenly becomes 5:30? Has anyone any thoughts or advice?? Should I start going to bed at 9:30pm the week before? Is there a way to get him to sleep in a wee bit more in the next 6 weeks? Please comment.
Thanks.

NOOOOOO. NOOOOOOOOOOOO. If we don’t talk about it, it’s not going to happen. Right? Right.
Let’s talk about happy things, shall we? Sunshine? Bunny rabbits? Rainbows?

I can’t remember how we approached this last year. I think our daughter was getting up at like 5:30 then, so an hour earlier would have been a freaking nightmare. My daughter seems to get up with the sun now, so I’m hoping that daylight savings won’t mess her up too much.

I’m just holding my breath on this one. Last year daylight savings passed without issue… so I’m blindly hoping for the same result this year. I think consistent routine helps, though – that, and keeping the blinds closed until the little ones are up for the day!
